Thirty-six year veteran of the insurance and reinsurance market. From 1980 to 1999 he worked with a large insurance manager in Bermuda in various accounting positions with the last nine years as a vice president and senior account manager. Glenn then devoted two years to serving his community as the treasurer of the corporation of the city of Hamilton, Bermuda before joining Willis Towers Watson in 2001.

John W. Waesche
Over thirty years experience in commercial real estate as a senior acquisition officer and underwriter for commercial real estate investment, financing and asset management.
As Managing Partner in CRCapital Advisors, in a joint venture with a large German regional bank, developed and was program manger for a Bermuda based specialized insurance company providing residual value insurance for commercial credit tenant, net leased properties.
Prior to starting CRCapital, Mr. Horton was head underwriter for Huntoon Hastings/ a realty advisory group and pension fund advisor for the Ohio State Employees Pension Fund, with direct responsibility over $700 Million in commercial loan acquisitions); a direct lender for several Wall Street conduits and insurance companies (over $375 Million in Commercial real estate financings) from 1996-2004; has acquired on behalf of both institutional and private investors over $500 Million in commercial real estate investment properties. Started career in problem loan real estate asset management at Chase Manhattan Bank.
Donald H. Horton
Seasoned real estate banking professional whose exemplary career has spanned more than 35 years and accounts for nearly $40 billion in financing and investing in real estate transactions. His lending and investing skills were developed during his seven-year tenure at Chase Bank in the 70’s where he became a senior executive within the Asset Restructuring and Recovery Group ultimately managing the most complicated workouts and earning in 1977 The David Rockefeller Award for outstanding financial performance. Mr. Fitzgerald joined one of Europe's leading commercial banks, Credit Lyonnais, in 1992 in order to establish and build a U.S. real estate investment banking practice. In 2004, he managed the real estate practice for HSH-Nordbank, a German commercial bank ranked as an international leader in Shipping, Real Estate, Aviation, and Energy Finance. In addition to portfolio lending, Mr. Fitzgerald started other businesses at HSH Nordbank including HSH N Residual Value Ltd., a Bermuda-based insurance company formed to provide residual value insurance for commercial real estate, particularly credit tenant lease and sale-leaseback properties
Dr. Ozgur Kan, CFA
Head of Credit
A renowned expert in credit analytics and leads Berkeley Research Group Credit Risk Analytics practice and is part of the firm’s Financial Services and Securities practices. In his credit-related projects, he provides both advisory and expert opinion services on credit analysis and assessments, credit ratings and driving parameters, credit modeling and validation, assignment of bond ratings across different industries and bond ratings advisory, underwriting of loans and leases, underwriting due diligence, deal review, credit model governance, regulatory preparedness, risk compliance, and economic and regulatory capital. His work also entails review, analysis, audit, and validation of asset allocation models and algorithmic investment approaches for investment funds and alternative investment vehicles with specific emphasis on asset allocation, portfolio construction and rebalancing, algorithmic investing and trading methods, portfolio risk management, risk and return attribution as well as advanced modeling of interest rates, FX/currencies and volatility for asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, asset/ liability management, and hedging purposes.
Dr. Kan previously led the Credit Methodology function in GE Capital, Americas, based in Norwalk, Connecticut and served as a director in the Consulting Services group of Moody’s Analytics after joining the rating agency Moody’s Investors Service. Dr. Kan also previously worked in the valuation, securities and financial services practices of Law and Economics Consulting Group (LECG) and Marshall and Stevens, and as an academic taught MBA and undergraduate courses in finance at two universities.
He earned a PhD in Finance from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering degrees from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Professionally, he holds Chartered Financial Analyst – CFA, Financial Risk Manager – FRM and Series 50 – Municipal Financial Analyst designations.
Based in Hamilton, Bermuda, Oliver is the former President and Managing Director of Willis Management (Bermuda) Limited. He has 37 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry as an Accountant, Underwriter, Broker and Insurance Manager. He has worked extensively with major financial institutions and manufacturers and has significant experience in marine, property, liability and life coverages. Mr. Heyliger joined Willis is 1984 as a reinsurance broker and took on the responsibility of managing the Bermuda captive management operations in 1990 through 2015. Mr. Heyliger is an Associate of the U.K. Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Webster University in St Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Trent University in Ontario, Canada. Over the course of his career he has held such roles as Board member of the Bermuda Insurance Institute, founding member of the Bermuda Insurance Mentor Group and President and current Board member of the Bermuda Insurance Management Association.
Gerald (Jerry) Kray joined the Manhattan office of Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in June 2003. He is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office, retail and hospitality. Mr. Kray has more than 45 years of commercial real estate finance experience, arranging loans with national, regional and local funding sources as well as agency lenders. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a vice president and regional manager with Reilly Mortgage Group Inc., one of the largest private commercial mortgage banks in the United States. Mr. Kray was also a managing director with Loeb Partners Realty and, for 10 years, a senior vice president and limited partner at Bear Stearns in its original real estate division. He began his real estate career at Pearce, Mayer and Greer as vice president and advisor to Hanover Square Realty Trust, a mortgage REIT. Mr. Kray has arranged financing for a wide variety of properties, including Palisades Center, a 2,200,000-square- foot shopping mall in Nyack, NY and the Marriott Marquis, a 1,900-room luxury hotel in Times Square, New York City. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York finance committee and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
